A while back there was a thread about a unified installer, that would offer a choice of standalone or Quake 3 UT4. Was this idea adopted?

I assume from previous posts that no decision was made to create a unified installer. Do you think there will be one in the future?

afaik, this was checked after 4.0. I already mailed IDsoftware like 5 times, but never got an answer before 4.0.

So ye, for 4.1 I'd certainly like to create a unified installer, if there's no other showstoppers.

I think a unified installer will go a long way towards simplifying the client selection process. I hope all goes well, woekele.

I was about to say it's not explicitly disallowed but a mod[non-gpl] is only allowed to be made for q3 arena, but then thought 'then why are we playing it on ioq3' so..
