Me and my brother had a similar issue.
For me it worked at first but just stopped during the same map. Reloading the game helped for me, still not sure what caused this.
My brother set up his bind in the settings and it didnt work for him either.
I figured it might be a server issue, but nobody else complained. (On 24/7 Eagle, 2 weeks ago) -
