hello,

.cfg tweaking is every noob's/pro's hobby ..

what i'd love to see is that the menus reflect and explain every option the cfg file has to offer, increase the customization options in the ingame menu,

there is so much (superfical) knowledge out there, so many myths about certain settings, some simple explanations and additional options in game could end this...

i do like the options menu (crosshair settings, chat seetings, minimap, etc), why not extend this menu and add all the little commands available?

the menu still includes this odd sensitivity bar, the radio can't be set up in game (aside from console commands) and we still "could" use punkbuster ...

any plans for this department fs?

The Q3 menus are very limited and hideous to work on. I've worked on them and so have a few others and we never want to work on them again. However we have new coders who have been tackling them and we shall see how much they can do before they scream and run away. No guarantees.

As Bladekiller said Quake 3 menus are pretty much limited. They are not something easy to work on... Anyway, as already mentioned, we are trying to enhance them as much as we can, but do not expect miracles ^_^

i think it's great you are trying .. i have spent quite some time now on urt and i just start to understand what my .cfg file can do,

brand new players will hardly ever get a grip of the vast customization options the game offers .. and that's a pity..
