Hi,

some may know that ClanBase has massive hosting problems and god knows how long the league will be able to make it..

If CB dies, UZ is the only established league in this game and probably the competitive side of the game will suffer from the lack of an alternative.

Long story short: We're trying to get UrT back into ESL, which would certainly promote the game and get some more comeptition going. So please, take a few seconds to register and post a comment to support the topic we made -> http://www.esl.eu/eu...39/166/1147067/

Your help is welcome, even if you don't intend to compete there anytime soon, it also helps the game itself!

Thanks to everyone posting \o/

Does anyone know about ESL's streaming policy? I know they have their own streamers and shoutcasters and such for the bigger games so I'm wondering if "outsiders" are allowed to stream the smaller games.

Yeah why don't you make your own league btw?

You know - people behind Urban Zone have no problems - website is theirs, trademark as well- CMS is custom and belongs to Urban Zone. It's safer to code league on your own - you don't have to "please please" anyone.

Because you know, you can always hear "sorry, we are dropping urt because somethingsomethingsomething".

The players who use linux and mac OS, can play? I say this because the ESL anti cheat only works on Windows ... And I don't know if it's mandatory play with the ESL AC for play on ESL

We have offered the CB crew to join UZ btw. My stance is that "working" for CB or ESL means that your work gains ad-revenue for those companies. The money will be going to the company which supports the top-tier games. The money UZ makes goes straight back into UrT. But I understand the stance that they want to give the community a choice.
So I support this initiative for sure.

Your voices have been heard!
The ESL will provide a fun and fair platform for gamers to compete against one another.
I would very much appreciate any comments and suggestions to be made on this thread:

Just read through your posts, ESL Wire will not be required for this however it is a very good tool for match chats and notifications for upcoming matches if you do not frequently leave the ESL site open.
For the game we will not be using ESL Wire unless we feel otherwise.

We will be taking on some people to join a streaming team and maybe letting players stream but that is to be seen. The main issue is that gameplay may be affected as a result of people not using delays etc.
