What gives people wishes to translate game or browser(s) for example?
Internet = english. period.
There is nothing to translate.
Players who can't understand basic english have no place in front of a computer.
Asking help for non-english program/OS have mostly very limited answers/support.

Calm down there Hitler

I am aware of how widely the english language is used in our world, and never doubted it, don't make me say what I didn't.
It does not suffice to say that no translation of any game or else is worth making. Consider this: Pick a game of your choice which has a translating that is in your opinion justified (any "big" game to be honest). Now try to explain to us why you think Urban Terror, compared to this game, shouldn't be translated. I dare you.

But then again, why am I even responding, you apparently didn't give it a lot of thought yourself.

Oh I want Urban Terror to have translations and I wasn't agreeing with Orbit's "No place in front of a computer" statement. Just pointing statistics out for anyone that may not be aware. o':

@Fredrik: Yes none of what I said was for you.
@Orbit: Yes, I'm very very popular. And no indeed, Orbit, barking was no solution, as I said previously, you should have thought of that before, and I shouldn't have responded. And again thanks for bringing us here.
@Biddle: Amen to that.

From the QIII SDK License:
"2. Prohibitions. You, whether directly or indirectly, shall not do any of the following acts:
g. translate the Software;"

Could somebody explain to us where the limits of "Software" lie?
Maybe we could think of a way to make it work.

Besides, and because it could help us I'd like to know more about those:

"i. publicly display the Software; "
What allows us, or the UZ staff, the end-users, to stream on Twitch or elsewhere?

"remove, alter, modify, disable or reduce any of the anti-piracy measures or components contained in the QUAKE III ARENA game, including, without limitation, the CD key system and the CD check."
How are you, Frozen Sand, not going against that? Or are you going actually going against it?

I was thinking and is more better leave the language like english.
Because is the opportunity for the people than no speak english, learn with it...
I speak spanish, my english is not so good, but I start to learn it thanks to play UrT 10 years ago.
The people need learn to manage the universal language (english).
