sometimes i jump on someones head and it makes the sound but doesnt kill them, whats wrong?:mrgreen:

why aren't there any options to vote for :evil: :)

it only works when you would get damage yourself, then the damage gets transfered to the enemy

Its not supposed to happen much. And the previous comment was correct you do need to be high enough to cause leg damage

If you hear the sound but you don't kill them, it was a prediction error from your client. Your client predicted that you killed him with your jump, but then the server said: nope, you didn't.

Just like the sound of falling out of ramelle church, sometimes it screams when you haven't jumped out yet.

That might also be the trigger being to close instead of prediction error, not sure :)

Prediction errors?  That's simply unthinkable!!  They have eliminated prediction errors like those completely with the advent of 4.0!

Only way to fix is to play on a 0ms lan or by not playing sounds before you get a cofirmation from the server that it was a hit (play with g_synchronousclients 1 and you will see how that feels).
