The weird fps drops/lag only seem to happen on certain "regular" maps. 3rd party maps seem to be fine.. where is the "variable snaps" setting"? Is this it? seta snaps "60"or is it in the server.cfg?

On my server 5 people observed this problem (including me).

My snaps was already set to 60.

Interesting "workaround" is to go to SYSTEMS menu and hit APPLY (defaults to Video settings screen). That resets the video, and FPS is back to normal value for just a little while.

As usual, you guys have out done your selves. Great Game. Been playing UrT for 17 or 18 years and this game still rocks. Its the only game I play.

As far as FPS problems, turn vertical sync off in Video Settings. That always worked for me. I run at 125 FPS everyday, all day, with all other settings to the max. And I have a IMac.

Mine was off, and I was having issues. Not on all maps though..
I'm running a Geforce 750 so fps shouldn't be a problem

No I haven't changed any settings. Personally, it seems to work much better for me below 300ping, but once it gets above that there is definitely a hit registration issue. I played on the [FS]gungame server (~320ping), and can't even hit people when i'm in their face knifing if they're moving. It seems like hits are being calculated server side now since so far I'm not the only asian player having this issue (some are having this problem even w/ 200ping)

-VA- servers have been up for about 2 weeks now, but nobody seems to play on it. Has AGS been updated yet?

I found one thing, official client binary Windows is lagging.
root exe 4b is not lagging at all.

Tested on FS gun game and sexy's CTF

I was one of those people, I saw it happening on 2 other servers also. My snaps were already at 60.
I did not see it happen on my server, but I run all 3rd party maps.
It doesn't happen on the Paris map
