Hey All,

Well it has been over 48 hours now and we have seen a huge ammount of support from the community with the launch of our new website. We thank you for all your patience over the little annoyances that you have faced over this time. I'm sure many of you understand just how big a job it is to launch something of this size and scale.

Kalish and I have been discussing all of your feedback and i wish to officialy annonce some answers to your questions and requests.

Display Names / Nazi Format Restrictions

As with any system, our base function was to provide ingame authentication. To this end we have codes in place that del33t and mangle strings so we can see them for what they are. we see ra1d3r the same as raider for example. This has caused you big problems, and i hear, this is effecting many.

This WILL be fixed with the introduction of Display Names, free from this restriction. You will be allowed the use of further Chrs and Spaces _ for your Website Display Name. While Passport Usernames will still have the same strict requirement, you will soon be able to display your name (within good reason) how you wish.

Colour Avatars

Some have said this is elitest and strongly disagree with them. Others don't care. A Few wish to have animated avatars.

Doh! We have avatars reserved for (Verified Users) only, this was the plan at least. Now we have ditch (for now) this feature, it certainly is odd the restricts in place due to passport on avatars.

You will be getting these, however, no to animated avatars.

Wide Forum Theme / Light Theme

I knew this would be a request even before we launched. We have made a choice in style, what (we) the team thought was best. While we are still discusing the wide theme option and are taking it onboard there will definatly be no light theme in the near future. Sorry, but that is the way it is.

This is it for now. I hope that you have had some of the major (as i see it hot issues) answered, we are working on these now. Please stand by and support us while we do this. Once this batch of fixes / requests are delt with, i will do the same again with another batch.

so we will have finally
1. Passport name (nazi format)
2. Forum name (Chrs and Spaces)
3. Game nickname (Chrs and Spaces?)

Ok there will be ne need to be a Verified Member to get the colour avatars... So what will be the extra features for verified people then ? :)

so we will have finally <--- i hope this is a lost in translation moment. This to me is agressive as if you have a right to your points. Also since we have been live only a week, your statement sounds like its been months.

Remember you will all have to get used to be poliet pleasent and take other peoples feelings into account at all times OR your going to get warned!

1. You will have to wait and see EXACTLY what we will and will not allow you to do, that is easier than dissapointing people.

2. Not quite correct about colour avatars. We were previously going to do it. Not any more. All i wish to confirm is that they will be avalible to members.

I don't believe the dev team is elitist; I believe it is very, very "fashion conscious". In this case, such a move on unifying the look by grouping avatars along with it could be perceived as the powers that be perceive users as 'peasants'. In fear of that it might had been better to even remove them altogether to avoid that misconception.

edit: On the 'removal altogether' thought, there's also the 'W.o.W. treatment': Only [automated] avatars based on rank of Passport.

sorry I was not aggressive I was only confused If I understand that correct it was more a question.
so this will exist:
Obscure = my passport name (shown in my passport setting? needed for 4.2 game account + verification ID?)
Ob$cUrE = my forum name
An(/)nym = my nickname
(this names are only examples)
