The S&W .500 did not exist at the time of the movie in question. And the phrase "The Most Powerful Handgun in the World" was not meant as a scientific proclamation. It was said by Inspector Callahan (Clint Eastwood) IN THE MOVIE Dirty Harry.

And if the final skin of the metal is not blued, then it can't claim to be the weapon held by Inspector Callahan in the movie Dirty Harry:
