i have an lcd. its nice. but mine you cannot buy seperate lol

i prefer the cheaper dollar per inch crt's since im a sucker for large screen monitors and i'm not too obsessed with a thin, light monitor
therefor i'd pick a nice 21" crt monitor over a 17" lcd any day
-i currently have 2 21" crt's and im keeping an eye out on ebay for a 24" crt ....if i can ever find one at a robbery price im going for it

2 of my friends have Syncmasters, 19". I can't stand playing even UT on them. The blur is just plain anoying, and really detracts from the overall look.
For example. At high resolutions you're better off turning off AA, the edges blur together so much that all you get is a jump in frame rates.
If you're a serious gamer, I don't think you'll like the flat panel.
