Who makes the screenshots of the maps?
I just saw Vertigo, thats an ugly one. And uberjumps is just a skybox, and shows nothing specific of the map, it could just be freak/funnyjumps or other....

No slot filter aside from sorting by no. of players on a server?



Sorting gets kind of messed up by those funky names.

Maybe it'd be good to simply ignore special characters like < > _ | ( { [ ] - * ~ @

checked before posting nonsense.

Sorting by players is confusing because of the weird server names, that's all.



Please, I beg of you.

As I want to have the possiblity to only show servers with e.g. up to 12 or 16 players others would want to see bigger servers (on an OT side note: I want this in the in-game-browser).

Anyone who wants this too, please help me out here! I can't refuse to believe I'm the only one who wants a slot filter for max. players.

I also wondered this - perhaps you could add a levelshot uploader like gametracker? I suspect a human will need to check these.

About map screenshots, I have just used the old database of the ~SG~ servers… If you want to propose new screenshots for some maps, (or for missing), please provide us a link to download them. They must be JPEG files, named exactly as the map, with .jpg instead of .pk3. Their dimensions must be 250x156 pixels, their weight 25KB maximum (less is better), and they must display only an image (no title, font etc.)

Examples: with ut4_uptown.jpg, ut4_algiers.jpg and ut4_abbey.jpg

That could be done, but it's troubling. Protocol association works different on Windows, Linux and OSX and it also depend on the browser used. Some has build-in protocol association with applications.
