Ahahah Its going too fast
First thank you for the time you use for my work, after the time passing on his map is a real pleasure ! My dream is finally realized !
I'm try to understand you and if i make mistakes or forget things, tell me :p I thinks the texture is missing is a simple error in the script (I put .jpg instead of .tga) For the lighting model of the character I just do something ? ( concerning lighting, the generation of reflection textures normalmapping is just awesome ! )
And finaly, i don't realy understand what you want to tell me about the name of the map. The final map will be named "Area3" only ? And i don't understand to the sentence on youtube, what is "nice highres" ?

Ah that would be cool if there was an official sticker we could plop over the levelshot to show a map has been made for and tested with HD.
Regarding this map, I don't know what it is that the french are eating/doing or if there's a school somewhere in France dedicated to teaching "how to make maps look great" but this looks amazing, I see influences from Pandora in this map and I like it.

Welllllll
What is an HD map is something best left up to the map-making community to decided. Good things are going on over at CMM and their members are in a much better position to raise the bar so to speak.

Sorry about the language gap but since I don’t know French maybe someone could translate.
Putting ut4_ in front of the name of the map is a hold over from when Urban Terror was a mod of Quake 3 and since Urban Terror is no longer a mod but a stand alone game it’s no longer needed. By removing the prefix indicates the map will run in HD and is not restricted or limited to Urban Terror 4.1.1.
Player models in HD contain their own lighting system that allows them to react to changes in light levels so that they always stand out from the background allowing the mapmaker to use more natural lighting with out having to worry about player visibility.

Frankie, there have always been 3rd-party maps released with no prefix even 5+ years ago so it could avoid confusion to use uthd_ or hd_ or something.
