Talking of torrents I know 1 torrent site where are 2 4.1. torrents .
I am not uploader there , but I suggest who that is & I will inform , when 4.2 came out ( well , maybe with few months delay ... is not 100 % sure what will happen , if ... reasons are not your business :P , don't know , maybe thatone knows & no need of info ) .

Last time I asked , if it is ok Urban Terror to be downloaded via torrents - no response , so I suggest it is , don't know if it is not still okay I guess we will be informed .

Because most of our visitors are French, and some don't speak English... About 4.2 feedback, this will be done later. What can I say is a lot of people complain about animations (apparently to weird, like the HD alpha), some people thought see more new stuffs, etc.
We'll ask to every participant to send us feedback in a topic on Urban Terror France, especially Ultranoob and CRY who have found very strange bugs :)

zzzzz

I'll miss the sr8 drop. Hate me if you want for it but no one can dispute it was something you had to learn by playing the game and I list it as a skill of experienced players in my book. And forget about league rules, some leagues you can't jump on trees, rubbish. ANYWAY thanks so much for the update, I was starting to think we were going another year without new playable content!

Taking an advantage of a bug that unbalance the weapons is not being a skilled player.

Its an exploit that isn't always easy to pull off and that is what makes it a "skill"

Given that there are scripts out there to automate this process, I think to call it a skill is pretty silly.

SR8 dropping runs counter to the intended design of the game. It is made possibly by a bug. How one can call using it anything other than an exploit is an amusing to watch exercise in semantical gamemanship.

Like strafe-jumping in Quake 2, eh? :> Those horrible, horrible bugs!

Apart from that... Some insight from the players who already played 4.2 would be indeed cool.

The key difference is pretty obvious and you're being disingenuous in the comparison. AFAIK, id didn't set about to code the game so that you COULDN'T strafe jump. FS did actually attempt to code it so that you would be penalized for a short time period after firing an SR8. Hint: one is a bug that circumvents the specific design intentions of the game and the other was a happy accident of sorts.
