4.2 is now a month old :O yay no update!
I have to agree... I'm glad we have this great new system so we can push new updates out in a matter of "days, or weeks, not months" ... Its ok pretty soon all the servers will be empty anyways... :(
dont get me wrong I was more pumped up than anyone... I'd love to see everyone jumping in full speed, but until the bugs are fixed it just aint gonna happen.

I hear the promised .002 fix has grown beyond the limits of any reasonable update and will be released sometime in the second half of 2014 as Urban Terror 4.3 Sorry About That Edition.
Maybe.
Maybe.

Still working on a stubborn bug that needs fixing before we can do an update.
Hmm. Nobody prevents you to diffuse a .002 patching some bugs and continue to work on .003 for remaining bug.
Autoupdaters exists for that, isn't it?
Such a decision will give a great boost to 4.2 diffusion because of two reasons:
1) even not perfect a .002 will be in any case better than .001
2) a temporary patch clearly shows that dev team is working on bugs. IMO, the bigger reason because most of community went back to 4.1 is not the bugs itselves, but the uncertainty about patch release date. Considering how long it took to release 4.2 after 4.1, players are afraid that 4.2.002 patch will arrive in may 2013 or later...
BTW: I installed 4.2 on my PC and on our clan servers immediately after release, and we are still playing 4.2. So what I wrote above it is not a blame but a suggestion.
