i have dl'ed 3.4, and put everything from that folder into my q3ut3 folder, but when i go to quake and choose mods, it still says 3.3...help me

yep...it still says 3.3 for me as well...but i tend to start it with 'quake3 +set fs_game q3ut3', so i never noticed. just try to join one of the 3.4 servers out there and be assured, if u put the pk3 in your q3ut3 directory (and permissions are alright) it will work.

The updated descritption.txt is in the pk3 but q3 is weird sometimes and won't load things. I included a shortcut and icon for your desktop that you might prefer using. Here's the command line if you can't figure out how to use the shortcut in the zip file. "C:Program FilesQUAKEI~1quake3.exe" +set fs_game q3ut3 you can add +exec my.cfg if you have a favourite config you want to run.
