Fix the terrible hits please

Whatever you did, you broke hits to a terrible degree.
On my own dedicated server, no hits. Kills just don't happen.

If you want to fix this problem, then remove the 100 or so lines of unlagged code.
The game would play much better without it. Remember back in Q3A when you used a rail gun as a sniper rifle? Those were the days when you did not get shot 1/2 second after moving behind a wall. Either way, the game is not giving but a very small fraction of the hits I received in .017. When you shoot directly at players (and everyone has a 60 to 100 ping), and receive almost no hits --that is a problem you do not wait to fix in an FPS game.

Back to topic: I cannot reproduce the above mention problem of hits or "anti-hits".
My personal impression was, that from 4.2.015 to 16 the animation and hits may be delayed. but you get used to that and with 0.17 and .018 the hits are as usual. Skill is still needed ;-D
However, it sounds awesome that p5yc0runn3r is working on the hit mesh again.
So we may get 4.3 on x-mas :-)
