excellent :) i was in the process of writing up a detailed discussion on it, but realised that my idea of how it would work would be heavily reliant on servers provided by FS, which i don't think is a viable option for a free game. hopefully your idea works around that problem.

I hope I will be able to play it like 4.2:
- it will run on Linux
I don't use Windows.
- it will run 90 fps on recent Intel GPU with lowest quality at 1920 x 1080
I won't buy discrete GPU again because of bad experiences. FPS games are very laggy below 60 fps.

personally, i love UrT and i love weapons, i wish i could see in hd more weapon and more customizing options, in example a front grip, acog or red dot scope even if not working and merely aesthetic, or even paintjob to have wood camo, tan, desert, black, white weapons, essentially something that can avoid to get bored to use always the same gun
ofc this is just a suggestion and not a request, i just share my "dreams" about urt&weapons :D

That is exactly what we would like to do. We want you to be able to customize your player models, also. I'm excited about the possibilities UE4 holds for this sort of thing. Due to UE4's instancing we can do one texture and then change a parameter (eg. it's base colour) and the new texture is almost free (it's just the bit of code for the colour parameter) instead of being a whole new texture. The possibilities are exciting.

That is exactly what we would like to do. We want you to be able to customize your player models, also. I'm excited about the possibilities UE4 holds for this sort of thing. Camos for guns (confirmed from what I'm seeing)
A movement system that lives up to its predecessor
Maybe more movement options
Utilizing all the new technical jazz to unleash its maximum flavour potential
Redone, rebalanced and maybe reimagined maps
More usable items and maybe more weapon attachments besides laser and supressor

I would like to see a new option to enable a "gore" violence mode. (the same way you can already turn off blood... but in the oposite way), to see aweasome beheadings, dismemberment, much more blood, burned bodies after explosions, and horrible knife and Katana wounds (off course, everybody already knows you should add a Katana ).
