Spawning problem

Hi all,
I have a problem with the spawn points in my map, only the red spawn points. For each team I made two groups of five spawn-points each. To put them in both corners. The red team keeps spawning from the same corner. Over and over again. I tried everything; delete the spawn points, saved it, give it another name, importing spawn points from another map... but still the red team keeps spawning only from one direction. How is this possible...? Please help.

What game type are you testing in? Different game types have different spawn rules. Have you read the making spawns tutorial?

If I add spawns the way it is described on the link you give, with info-->ut_spawn, I will get the message in Urban Terrr: Couldn't find a spawn point. I allready made some maps who are running smooth, I always just import a previous map and de-select the spawning points from that map so I re-use it. That always work, but on this certain map the red players keep spawning from the same direction...
btw I've set in the console g_gametype 7 (it's build for for capture the flag)

You need at least one deathmatch spawn in your map or it will give that error. These are used by FFA.
NulL is correct you need to use our spawns for all gametypes other than FFA and not the Q3 ones to have the spawns work properly in UrT. TS spawns have to be done completely differently as well so read up on those before you try adding them.

I did exactly what you guys said and what those instructions are saying. I builded 16 spawn points (Info --> Ut_Spawn) and set all the keys for it (included g_gametype 7). Then I added some Team Deatchmatch spawning points (the pink ones) en rendered my map. Now I start the game and I can only play with FFA mode. If I put in the console '/set g_gametype 7' or 'set g_gametype 3) it gives the erros: couldn' find a sapwn point.
I never used that yellow spawn point (info-- ut spawn) , I always got 'team - bluespawn' and 'team-redplayer' and that is still working for my maps that are running on our server. But because the players kept spawning from the same corner, I decided to use your advise. But nothing works??
Is there something wrong with my radiant? I have version 1.6.2.

I never used that yellow spawn point (info-- ut spawn) , I always got 'team - bluespawn' and 'team-redplayer' and that is still working for my maps that are running on our server. But because the players kept spawning from the same corner, I decided to use your advise. But nothing works??

what are the switches you use for compiling?
also how many spawns do you have for each team and side?
like on 8 vs 8 you would want 32 spawns, 8 spawns a corner and team. (And thats TS spawns only)
The other Other modes require additional spawns
FTL and BOMB can be combined(since they dont need protected areas), as well as CTF TDM and CAH (they need protected areas)
For sure you can also have different spawns each gametype

There is a difference between zero and gtk. if i read that correctly in my 1 min of research zero radiant 1.6 is based on gtk 1.4. There is actually a gtk 1.6

also try checking your urbanterror.game folder and your q3map2 version.
You could also post a simple map file here, so we can check. Maybe ill do a short example (that hopefully works) later today. By compiling it you can then check whether its your compiler or not.
