There were coinbird EE's in a few maps like Casa and Ramelle but we had to remove the images due to copyright. The coinbird cartoons are hilarious.

I was thinking it had something to do with the concept art around the map with some of the drawings that have numbers above them but none I could find are labeled as "A1"

Not quite. The "Erzgebirge" (Ore Mountains) are located in "Sachsen" (Saxony; part of Germany) and the Newspaper "Freie Presse" (free press) is a local newpaper in Saxony. The article featured something relating to or from the Erzgebirge, which wasn't located in that region. So probably the best translation would be "Something from the Erzgebirge, far away from home". So it has nothing to do with Austria (Country south of Germany), unless the original article featured something in Austria that's related to the Erzgebirge. It seems like Tub (the guy who created ut4_austria) replaced the picture in the article with some urt screenshot of a crate in the back of a truck (?). Maybe someone can find out where that screenshot was taken. Or if someone really has too much time on his hands, finding the date or actual text of the article would be interesting, albeit quite pointless. :)
