hey there!
today I tried to set-up the authentication method for my server.
it mounts the last version (4,2,0,15) but the connection to the group doesn't seem to work.
auth_enable is active, auth_status is public and auth_owners is my group ID.
what did I miss?
thank you, bb

remove the # symbol from the ID and unless you only want members of your group to play on your server then auth_group should be empty.
auth_owners should be your group id from the website if you want it to sync with group bans for example.

which ports do you currently have open ? the master server has a new port "27900" but I dont see this being the problem since your server is already listed.

This looks like the cause of the problem = we are looking into it

I'm test with empty rules with the same result
iptables -nvL

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT 0 packets, 0 bytes)

Yes I see that, but I don't know why this happens
Thanks!

ok its 5am here I really ought to get some sleep :P
However, I may have found a temporary solution. The error above is due to the serverinfo string being to large (it has over run is maximum length).
This you'll need to comment out or delete the lines of your server.cfg that are not needed. for example:
After doing this it still wasn't enough - I had to remove the sv_dlURL "" cvar and also limit my hostname to very few characters.
Update: solution didn't work as it broke compatibility with server browser.
will keep looking...

i tried to comment out a few lines with no result.
anyway this server is linked to its group correctly and it's running version ,015. how can it be?
keep waiting
