Not quite yet. There's still some things that are being worked on and we plan to do several weeks of intensive testing before the release.
I know.. back in January I said that we planned to release 4.3 in the first quarter of 2015, but we do not want to repeat 4.2's mistakes so we are taking our time to do a properly tested release, whatever the time it takes.

First Quarter : two more months to wait (maximum) ^^
the first quarter is January - March ;)
I also think that the master server should only respond to the latest version of the game and old versions should not be listed on Urban Terror website.
Looking forward to 4.3 although if not carefully planned it could lead to another 4.2 situation were early adoption was poor.

4.2 was a extensive rebuild from the ground up that if I remember right started with a roll back to the core idtech3 engine. I could write a list but lets just say that it was a deep rebuild more or less from the ground up that involved some major repairs to a lot of areas that had become fundamentally broken in 4.1.
4.3 is more of a code base upgrade and repackaging to help make updates easier and since content is not involved things should go a lot smoother. The server crashing in .002 for example was caused my a malformation in the collision mesh on a single animation clip on the male player model that if shot with the Spaz would crash the server. Easy fix but took more than a few updates to regain trust. :(
Sorry about the bumpy ride, and it was not fun on this side for anyone involved with the update, but it had to be done other wise there would have been no 4.2

The repackaging is well overdue and a good place to start for 4.3 - far too many duplicate files and maps that are never played.
I am hoping that the repackage will show great improvements in the games performance.
There are definitely maps in the current game that no one plays yet there are maps constantly played in the community (i.e. orbital) which I wish could be added to the game.

Much remains to be done ?
You do not want to repeat the mistakes of the 4.2 but you have took a really long time for it (somes years...)
PS : sorry for my english, i hope you understand.

That’s because there was a high probability that there “might†not have been a 4.2 period. When I showed up things were being packed up getting in what I would consider as being a shut down mode and stuff being put in to boxes and the clock showing 5 past midnight.
Yes it was that close where you all would not be even reading my comments if BK was not a stubborn person. What got things going again is some became aware of what was going on and offer their time to help out to get things back on track so sure things were bumpy but not as bad as the alternative.
