It happens every time i go out on open space or when i encounter another player too fast, so if i jump in front of someone gap appears.
I have no idea if FPS frozes cause the screen goes black and i can't see anything.

oh. that's something different, it sounds strictly rendering related. Have you tried to: remove any trace of the driver; reboot; install an official driver?

edit: i wouldn't be surprised if it was video hardware related; can you try another card to not waste a new one in case it wasn't that?

I did a fresh install of everything today, OS, drivers and UrT, openned my comp and cleaned it top to bottom. There is no improvement at all. I tried playing silent hill 2 and i noticed it happens there too, but not in a form of a black screen but a lag that freezes everything for a second, Need for speed underground 2....same thing. I made few calls to see if someone can borrow me ANY kind of graphics card to try it out. Hopefully i will know if it's a hardware issue tomorrow. yeah, card, i was also thinking AGP/PCI-E hardware etc.

I have exact problem. My lagometer shows black lines as well. When it appears I have also problems with strafing.



Nothing above wasn't helpful for me. Had anyone problem like this and fixed it?
