are there any plans on fixing the mouse sensitivity issue? there is a totally different feel to this build, rather than the original, as in on the original, ill have my mouse sensitivity on 1.5, on this, its well over 2 to make it anywhere close, still figuring it out

The system it uses to get the [mouse] events is SDL. This is different from old q3 and iourt that was released, if I recall correctly.

So, basically, it's to be expected to not be exactly the same, it may be related to the SDL version on your system (it's used dynamically on the ones built), and any options that may affect it may reside both in ioq3 and SDL projects.

see ioquake3 and SDL projects for further details.

Is it just me or is it also inconsistent? Sometimes I start the game and the sens feels weird, I keep having to adjust it a lot

the pointer doesn't disappear on these executables for me, it simple stays in the middle of the screen
happens with both the 64 and the 32 one, on 64 bit lucid

also i experience way more lag than other players (on the 64 version, haven't tried the 32 one in action yet)

probably an issue with your SDL [lib on the system].
