Hey, i was thinking about this for a quite long time. Would merging several smaller textures into one bigger texture bring some performance benefits? (because game has to load less textures) It could be used for small objects which don't need tiling, or for larger surfaces by cutting polygons (so they can be tiled). I know few games use this for better performance, so i want to know if it could work in urt.
