and if u run anything to do with Q3, inc the shortcuts in compatibility mode then PB kicks you for some other violation

Maybe you should try running as admin and run in XP compatabilitymode and not on an illegal version!

Well, I'm on an intel mac and running xp as second OS just to get PB support (and some other games) to work properly. Maybe now you should dual boot xp as well GET A MAC FFS! Or even better, put on linux with XGL support for nicer eye candy and a higher fps/better mouse response urt experience ! XQF game browser is a nice bonus for the latter as well.

I use XP-64bit and have never had a problem with PB.

I use xp, two systems. my bet is on old/incompatible vid card drivers. one system never had a problem, it is quite fresh (4 months), the other started acting up and made me hate this - 131144 - number.

tried all kinds of funny stuff, then installing the freshest drivers solved the problem. this might be a part of the long lasting issue between ati and pb. any chance this might be your problem too?

atm, I've given up and will stick to XP until I know that pb have updated their client and made it Vista compatible
