[FS HappyDay]

Hi there,

As a little Christmas present I've prepared a map for you. The map was originally designed as a league map for a the ftwgl mapping competition but unfortunately I didn't have enough time to finish the map for the contest. The map is rather small, about the size of turnpike. It's build with Team Survivor in mind but ffa, tdm, ctf and bomb are also supported. I decided to still call it an alpha version simply because there's still so much I want to do. I am aware of most of the aesthetical issues but I certainly would love to have your opinion on game play. Feel free to leave comments about anything and everything you like or dislike. I need your feedback.

Looks nice happy, its a alpha release so i dont tell you that some latin texts are reversed.....

Must be a nice hobby in winter, making the stones!
At least thats what i think, i would enjoy it to model them.

I think gameplay will be nice, idk, im all alone on the server.

PS: You need different colored glass, becasue of different colored stones? Just a question -)

What exactly do you mean? Why I made the map? Cause there was a mapping competition at ftwgl forums. What was my inspiration for the theme? Well, I build a few more layouts with different themes but this one was the best. The map is not based on any real place but created for maximum gameplay experience (I hope; needs lots of testing ofc).
Oh, I didn't mention, this is going to be a minerals and gem exhibition/museum. The basic gameplay elements are pretty much there, the only thing missing are the exhibits and a lot more detail that will be added later.
The reason for the release is for me to get feedback from league players and other people on gameplay. To see if the map is suited for competitive play. The only problem I see is that competitive players usually don't try new custom maps. I'll have to see what I could do about that...

Ye our clan is up for custom maps to 100% so sick of only playing Casa and Turnpike... there is more maps out there clans of Urban terror!!!

Yup,the theme.

Reminds me of this map because of the museum/exhibition theme,although, I prefer the ambient lighting in your map

The layout also seems to be more directed towards competitive play,judging from the screenshots.Will be sure to check it out
