I really like the way you guys are making progress with 4.2 so far... Just a few more tweaks and comp play should be possible. :)

I have a little problem with the latest update, though. The new shade of red is cool and all, but Denzel is too grey, imho. All of the models have their respective team colour as their main body colour.. Except for Denzel, he's mainly grey and hard to spot from a greater distance.

Well.. I may not have expressed myself clearly enough. You can still spot him. The thing is.. I can't differentiate him from the other models as fast as I'd like to. But maybe that just takes some time to get used to.

Bug with the updater. Urt doesn't work cause win is on 64bits...

EDIT : After uninstall urt and re-install it's allright.
PS: don't forget to copy qkey, config, autoexec and authkey

I agree. The camo red is harder to see which is an advantage for them. Please make them more red again. :) (Or can I mod the models myself?)
And the servers are still crashing. Played for 30min and experienced 1 "map change/restart".

Urban Terror 4.2.xxx is still searching for libcurl version 3 (libcurl.so.3) but these days libcurl version 4 is offered by most linux distros (libcurl.so.4), so you guys might think of adjusting this in the next version of the game.

So if you guys receive an error on linux about downloading maps due to a library error, open q3config.cfg from /home/username/.q3a/q3ut4/ with an editor and set the curl library to libcurl.so.4, something like this seta cl_cURLLib "libcurl.so.4" after that save the change.

point taken. it was just for some testing purpose, never made public.

skin issue was always something that divided the scene with traditional players remembering the good old days where every team was wearing camo and only armbands made the team colour. and also the less traditional "arcaders" who would wish to have their whole models barbie-pink or something even more eye-catching. the current skins are a compromise between each camp, and still after years of arguing each one wants to have the skins turned to less or more visible.
i'd say i wish there was more tactics than arcade, and turn the skins less visible, some might say UrT will never go back to that point... and i fully understand, but don't like it.

on one point we can all agree- we're missing funstuff :) and having more models and skins to choose from wouldn't harm too i guess.
