only thing that rubs me the wrong way is the fact that someone could load up a CURRENT jump map with maxWalljumps 100 and/or noStamina enabled, and then say "hey i beat that map!"

ummm no... no you didn't.....

for future jump maps, the maxWalljumps thing could be fun.. too bad it will be used with current jump maps though :/

noStamina just minimizes the learning curve of jumping = bad
a fast recharge of stamina = good

otherwise great work!

Possibility to add these cvars to worldspawn (just like g_gravity or weather) could be nice...

but ure gonna need no stamina if u want to do a sick walljump only map

about the Jumpmode,
Id also like you to name the cvar just /save and /load
just like im used to :c

and if there will be really 2 different modes for teamjumping and Jumping,
you should give the hoster a possibility to put the Gametype and other cvars
in the Mapcycle, so all that stuff can be played on One server.
Personnaly, i dont like the idea of 2 different jumpmodes.
(or also an icymode?)


The map required certain files that aren't officially supported, I chat with him breifly on fb sometimes...i'll see if he still has the files and is gonna update for HD.

well yeah if you're wanting it for 100 walljumps in a row.. i was thinking more like 10-15

infinite stamina = easy / less challenging

i don't like easy..

and i don't like the fact that current jump maps (like my own) being played with these features will just render the maps useless..

im sorry, i didnt explain myself very well.
Its possible in the Mapcycle, but if you vote for a map,
that kind of stuff Wont change, as far as i know.

What if certain check points would allow for a greater threshold of stamina so you could do more complex jumps but when the jumps don't need a lot of stamina it goes back to normal?

RaideR told me yesterday that callvotes will be logged in UrT HD. So if this cannot be implemented in UrT HD, will be possible to build a b3 plugin that does the job
