The signups for the 8th Urban Zone CTF League and our brand new TS League are now open. We hope that the TS League will be as successful as the CTF league and also create an increase in the amount of ts clans. Signups are, as always, open to everybody, but we will create localized divisions if there are enough clans signed up from one geographical location.

People and clans that want to take part in the TS League will need to register again, we are in the process of going to a newer version of the league management software, sorry for the inconvenience.

Also the winners of the Winter Cup have been announced, Tw// took the gold, |it| silver and [US] bronze.

CTF League Signups TS League Signups

Takayuki Nakada aka |tR|CHEIRON founder of the Japanese Urban Terror clan Truth is to host an Urban Terror gaming event on January 30th, 2010 in cooperation with a gaming portal website called CyAC (in Japanese) in Akihabara, Japan.



This gaming competition will consist of lots of tournaments for a variety of FPS games such as Counter Strike 1.6, WARSOW, Age of Empires 3, Unreal Tournament 3, Company of Heroes, and Urban Terror! Clan Truth are going to manage the Tournament of Truth and the top 3 players in the tourney will be rewarded with prizes!

The event will be held at the Linux Cafe in Akihabara which is the city Japanese proudly deliver to the world of the electronic network. Sponsors are DHARMAPOINT, GALAXY, ZOWIE and ARTISAN.

Clanbase has announced it's NationCup XIII's season for Urban Terror! Sign Ups have started! Find more info at Clanbase. 16 nations signed up last time with team Netherlands taking 1st place.

ClanBase has announced a new competition type named Seasonal Ladders for 16 games including Urban Terror. They are starting three different ladders for UrT, which is the most for one single game; CTF, TS and TS 2on2. For The Win Gaming League is a new North America based gaming league for Urban Terror. For more information, visit the FTW site and forums at www.ftwgl.com. The season will be starting soon, and currently we have over 40 teams signed up for Team Survivor! The league also supports Bomb and Capture the Flag. All clans are welcome to join, but they must play on North American servers and be within our ping rules. Happy fragging!

The Tournament of Terror wraps up it's 3rd season. Congratulations to the winners from all 5 continents - Zoo, v0dka, M0rtal, chrieze, and Cheiron - who will now compete in a World Championship to determine the best Urban Terror player in the world.

eChain is doing a little Christmas CTF Cup from the 6th to 7th December this year. Every Clan is invited to have a bit fun. We try to have a very fast competition, thus we reduced the time from 20 to 10 minutes per Map.
